Pilot's life saved by Cirrus parachute, video. Jan 25, 2015

Hi all, here's that Cirrus plane, which ran out of fuel and was ditched in the sea off Hawaii. Accident was caused by failure of a fuel valve, but the pilot was saved by the parachute system and a life raft.

What a good system! I think it may even be developed up to the point, when it keeps the plane afloat...
