iPhone app notifications not working

Hi guys,

I starting to get a little frustrated trying to get this working. First some info

iPhone 6s
iOS 9.3.3
Flight radar 24 (not the free version) 6.7.0


I have notifications on in the app and settings (see pictures). I have tried deleting the app and reinstalling it and I have even gone to the trouble of wiping my phone and setting up from scratch again.
Notifications work on my iPad but not the phone. I thought this might be causing a problem so I deleted the app from my iPad however the problem remained the same.

I have made a few purchases in the app and of course the app itself and I'm a bit disappointed that the notifications don't work.

I would like to buy the custom notifications add on but this needs to be fixed first.
