SQW sometimes showing 0000 [Rpi+nooelec]

Have Rpi+nooelec, sometimes I receive all data ok for a flight, but SQUAWK "0000", in FR24 when other station tracks the plane (that is VERY close to me...lets say less than 1km) It reports the number.
Any idea why sometimes I dont "get" the SQW?
