Hi

Got a little bit of a technical issue here.

According to my account info, I am both feed and not feeding to FR24. Don't know which it is.

File #1 - Current And Correct shows how much I've been feeding today
File #2 - Current and Correct #2 shows correct output from RPi2
File #3 - Current and Incorrect 1 shows incorrect status at Flightradar. It says i'm offlice but my RPi and the connect graph say other wise.

Can somebody help please.

Maybe it is possible to see Realtime Thunderstorm activities on the Map. Like on http://www.lightningmaps.org/realtime?lang=de
It would bee cool if that works. So we can see the Aircrafts going arround.

today i saw a F-LOWL1 while i have T-LOWL1.
is this possible and desirable? :(

i think it's not. maybe i get an other device some days, i would have the same call ...

i HAVE Acars with pictures and suddenly the Acars has crashed , i am trying to get Acars up and running again can any body help me with their suggestion to get it running again
I DOWNLOADED IT AND INSTALLED IT IN 2010. IN THE PAST 3 WEEKS IT HAS CRASHED.

Almost Permanent Red GPS LED on FR24 Receiver

The GPS LED keeps flashing red on my FR24 supplied receiver box. The antenna is mounted outside on a 45deg roof facing south at my location (57N). What could be the cause? Also as the receiver is at a fixed location why is a GPS signal required on a constant basis?

Sydney airport (YSSY) used to display ground vehicles earlier this year but they are now missing. I have the option to display them turned in in Settings. Do I have to do anything else or has something changed please?

id like to go to heathrow to video planes soon. Can any one recommend best places to go to..ill be driving so wish to park somewhere near for free , im not paying £6 per hour short stay etc ! detailed instructions on where to go please. i have found this guide but its for photos http://www.plane-mad.com/airport-spo...-lhr-egll.html and most examples he shows dont show the runway..i would like to film planes touching down as well as approaching the airport , ill be leaving from Cambridge and happy to take any one along i can pick you up on my way there if not far out of the route id take. thanks

Strange sighting

Hi fellow spotters,

I'm pretty new to this so bare with me, I was sitting outside earlier today, looked up and saw a very high very fast moving plane flying towards the south east of England, closely followed by what looked like an AWACS aircraft and two smaller aircraft possibly fighters, all leaving trails behind them, and the two smaller aircraft kept crossing each others paths.

Was this some sort of military exercise involving the fast moving aircraft or something else, I know theres been a lot of reports lately about Russian aircraft coming close to uk airspace etc at first I thought maybe it was something like this but I'm not to sure.

Just thought id share this sighting as it rather intrigued me especially the speed in which the first aircraft was going

Can anybody explain the Polar Plot to me?

What does the different shades of red indicate?

Here is my plot from today:

The deep red sector to the west only has one position reported whereas the light pink sector to the southwest has 30 positions reported so it does not mean number of hits, but the what?

After that about 6 minutes the AC upload works - but then I see only "pings" - seems to be a sort of disconnect - but I can't find the reason.

Before I fork over $6.49 for the Custom Alerts, I wanted to find out if I can set a flight path alert - For example: All flights from Hong Kong to Melbourne, Australia with all airlines/specific airlines.

Does any one know if this possible? (iOS)

I have the Android version which is superb. I particularly like the 3D view and so thought it would look much better on my iMac.

So I shelled out for the Premium service. To be honest, I see very little benefit in paying the extra. Certainly I cannot find anywhere near the functionality that the Android version has. No 3D that I can see.

So I then thought 'maybe it is in the Mac App' and bought that. Boy, do I wish I had saved my money. That App us so lacking in functionality.

My question is this...how can I see 3D (is that the same as Cockpit View?) on my iMac. Is there a setting that I need to change somewhere - although I've looked hard and Googled until my fingers have bled.

Hi all,

I am quite new to the forum and FR24.

I am a FR24 feeder and live near Carlisle, Cumbria. At present coverage around here below 5000ft is normally non existent.
Just lately aircraft have been showing slightly below 5000ft on the radar named T-MLAT7. Where is this one based as normally they just say T-MLAT?

my understanding of MLAT on FR24 was that aircraft would only show that are mode S transponder equipped if in range of 4 or more FR24 feeders? is that correct?
