red segment on flight path

Hello!

I was wondering what the red segment means and if it has anything to do with some incident during the flight. Some bad turbulence maybe?
Red is bad, right? Beside, I hate turbulence and need some reassuring to be honest:)
I apologize if the info can be found somewhere on the forum, but I did search for it before posting.
