Is there a way to search the history by type of equip installed on the aircraft? Specifically; I am trying to determine if any aircraft have FreeFlight RANGR 978 gear installed.

We fly regularly AMS to PTY and up to last year this was with the MD 11 a lovely comfortable plane and reasonably quiet. KLM have almost completed phasing out their flee and replacing with B 777 and the last flight to North America will be soon. Maybe it's about time to replace them: last time we were stuck at AMS for nearly an hour while the APU was fiddled with. The MD11 has a lot of fans and I wonder whether other people have favourite airliners?

[Request] SailfishOS & Ubuntu Touch app

Is it possible to get Flightradar24 app for SailfishOS (from Jolla) and maybe Ubuntu Touch? both uses Qt5 and HERE(gps) maps.
+ Tizen (made by samsung and intel) uses HERE and Qt5 supports it.

for those who dont know who/what Jolla & SailfishOS is:
Jolla is an startup company from Finland, started by ex-nokia MeeGo team who wanted to continue Nokias linux/meego work.
They have made their own OS called SailfishOS which uses Wayland, systemd, btrfs & Qt5 + It has Android app support (alien dalvik).

Beginners question

Hello everyone

I am a new user and not particularly knowledgeable regarding technical matters so I am not sure if I am asking this in the correct place but can you please explain to me what the numbers refer to on the maps e.g. A312 etc. I notice these can follow the flight number on the listings and wondered if they were route numbers. Many thanks for you help.

i read READ THIS FIRST but still wonder. i click on flight that says "blocked" and has a jagged circular pattern and/or random pattern. is that just a scrambled path or is it a blocked flight going in circles?

Hello there. If there is anyone who can provide registration numbers for flights that took part in 2005 and 2008, i would be grateful to have it. I have checked during acarsd report database, through direct contact with the airlines and more other ways such as libhomeradar, flightradar24 database even planefinder's playback but still no answer found. So i decided to begin a thread. Any further help would be welcome. Thank you in advance

6. Varig, RG8617 - EZE - GIG, 02/22/08
7. Gol, G3 7456 - GIG - GRU, 02/27/08

Canon Powershot SX50 HS contrail spotting

A few months ago I bought a Canon Powershot SX50 HS. My pictures almost always turn out blurry and I hold my camera steady. I usually contrail spot from my backyard with the fastest shutter speed on my camera. Here are some sample images that I have attached. How do I improve my image quality? The pictures at the bottom are a Sun Country Boeing 737-700 and a Frontier Airbus A319.

CMB/RSD Flights in FR24 App

Hi,

I have noticed that CMB flights are listed as US Air Force, and RSD flights are listed as Russian Air Force when setting alerts or searching in the app.

This is incorrect. CMB flights are all civilian aircraft, with civilian crews etc, working on a contract for the US Department of Defence (not specifically the USAF). RSD flights are owned and operated by Rossiya on contract for the Russian Government under their special flight division.

Hope this helps, and can be corrected (to avoid confusion to people not aware of this).

Kyle :)

Jose "Fuji" Ramos is one of the photographers aviation industry best known for his amazing shots. The most amazing images he has taken from the seat of an F-5 Tiger, the plane that has ended up becoming his private photo studio. Below you can see a gallery of some of his most spectacular shots.

missing flights

Hello all, hope this hasnt been answered yet, I have tried to search for an answer but nothing yet. My question why is for example Delta airlines flight 150 and 151 are missing when they get out of US coverage or only appear when they return to the US every day, heading southbound to SPIM the same things happen when heading to SCEL. This only happens with Delta Airlines, all other carriers appear when they have coverage on the route. thanks

Hello, I'm new to the forum though not to FR24. I checked FAQs and used the search feature without success, so my apologies if this has already been covered.

Since the new playback feature was introduced I note that it is now only possible to go back one week. Is this temporary or a permanent policy? I'm often traveling and can be away from PC access for more than a week. In the past I would come home and be able to use the more extended playback option to verify sightings I had noted and logged on my travels. This is no longer possible when I'm away more than a week. Can we not have the playback feature go back for say two or even three weeks?

A400M and Breitling Jets fly in formation

The Airbus A400M and the Breitling Jet Team joined forces yesterday for a formation flight in the south-west of France not far from the airframer's Toulouse headquarters. The result is these stunning images of prototype aircraft Grizzly 6 (F-WWMZ) alongside the aerobatic team.
Although you might think the turboprop-powered A400M would be no match for the jet-engined Let L-39C Albatros, the four Europrop International TP400-D6s help deliver the Grizzly's top speed of 478kt (885km/h) against 405kt for the Czech-built aircraft.

Was loving the new "On Ground" feature for airports as a Premium member. However, the last few days it's only showing the last two arrivals "on the ground", which is as per the non-Premium membership...

Am I doing something wrong?!

First post, so apologies if this is in the wrong forum.....and if I've posted something really stupid here!

Just browsing FR24 when I spotted 3 small aircraft at the same time. All have the same call sign, and reg number. They're all Dassault Falcon 20-5B's. However, rather oddly, one of them appears to have taken off from the North Yorkshire Moors! I'm guessing it's some kind of pilot training or testing. Anyone able to confirm what's happening here? All taken within 1 or 2 minutes of each other.
