Chrome Plugins
Hi guys,
As you may know, Chrome no longer supports NPAPI plugins, such as the Google Earth plugin which FR24 uses for its 3D mode. It is currently still possible to use these plugins, but only if you manually enable that feature using a flag. In the near future, this may not be possible.
I was wondering what FR24's plans are regarding this, as no one using Chrome will be able to use this feature if nothing is done about it.

Any way during playback to display what time a plane passed over an area?
I apologize if this is explained somewhere, but I've been searching on and off for weeks, and haven't stumbled on it yet.
I am new to Flightradar24, and have so far only been using the standard Web version (not pro or premium, not a downloaded app) ... am trying to log the number and altitude of planes flying over particular local locations during particular periods of the day (at least, the number tracked by Fr24), and the times at which they did so.
I'm not even sure I'm doing "playback" correctly ... figured out to click on the little clock to set a date and time, and I get the pop-up time bar, but I don't entirely understand how to use it. I can make the planes stop and go with pause and play buttons, of course ... but as the planes fly, the "time" position bar never changes. If I pause and click on any plane to display its information at a particular point on the screen, I can see arrival and departure times for the flight ... but the information I haven't been able to find is what time it was when the plane was right THERE, at the point on the map where I paused it on the screen?
Is this information even possible to glean from Flightradar24? (In ANY version, standard, premium, pro, etc.?) If it's something I can do in a premium version but not the free one, I'll pay for a premium version. But I don't want to pay for premium if this feature isn't available, and I don't see it described anywhere. Perhaps it doesn't exist? It just seems strange to me that it wouldn't, as all three of our local major airports' trackers provide this ability ... so I'm sure I must be missing something.
Also, is there a manual or instruction sheet for this program anywhere? I'm not finding it entirely intuitive ... for instance, during playback, if I click on a plane to read its info, sometimes this causes the plane to "jump" halfway across the screen, and I have no idea why. If there's any kind of even bare-bones manual or instructions online anyone could point me to, I'd really appreciate it!
Thanks, sincerely, for any help or direction anyone might be able to provide ... and again, my apologies if I just missed something obvious here! :-)

jetphotos.net and Cargo Planes
After switching to jp.net I noticed that a lot of Cargo Planes has no photos when selecting them in FR24. However, photos are available on jp.net for those aircrafts. For example AeroLogic's D-AALA is affected, on FR24 we only get a default thumb but jp.net has 170photos of this aircraft. It would be nice to see a fix soon :)

Problems feeding with Windows/generic/i386/1.0.14-9
Ok, this is my first attempt.
I have ADSBSharp --> Virtual Radar Server --> Rebroadcast/AVR --> Windows/generic/i386/1.0.14-9
The status page lists as follows:
That to me means:
- connection to the rebroadcase/AVR server is correct
- the app is tracking planes
Now the problem is, how do I feed to FR24 ?
as "FR24 Link" shows "Not configured, go to Settings"
My settings are as follows:
what am I missing ???
any help/tips/tricks welcome !
thanks,
vanmie

Aircraft Timetable Display Feature
I am not sure if this is mentioned before, However I know that you can currently view the past history of an aircraft over 7 days.
But it would be kinda cool if the website could take that data and display it in an Aircraft Allocation Table. (As Shown Below)
Would be an easy way to visualize how often the aircraft is being utilized.

Linux / RPi: Unattended-Upgrades of fr24feed
Hi,
I've installed fr24feed on my RPi2 (Raspbian Jessie) using the repository
(**** = "ttp:" because I'm not allowed to post links)
in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/fr24feed.list and the commands
Now I'd like to keep the installed fr24 software up-to-date with the package "unattended-upgrades", which installs software updates on a regular cycle automatically.
I figured out, or lets say guessed, the following origins-pattern (/etc/apt/apt.conf.d/50unattended-upgrades) but I can't say if its correct because there's no update available right now.
I've learned in other webforums that origins-patterns can be obtained by opening the "Release"-File in the correct folder of the repository server. In my case this one: h****//repo.feed.flightradar24.com/dists/flightradar24/raspberrypi-stable/binary-armhf/Release . In that file I can't find any information about the origin (o=). There are just following entries available:
Does anyone know working / correct origins-pattern to get automatic fr24feed updates from the fr24 deb repository? Any suggestions?
Thanks and best wishes,
Alex

Llin: connecting ... failed
I just followed the thread to set up my dvb-t dongle on a raspberry pi. Everything seems to have gone fine but when I check the status I see FR24 Link: connecting ... failed!
Not sure what could be causing this. It is a NooElec R820T2SDR&DVB-T dongle. Says NESDRMini2. Any clues? Did I miss something?

Cockpit Audio 2K HD DHC-6 Seaplane Takeoff & Landing | Maldives

First Officer 'AviaTube' on the right hand seat, doing some of that pilot stuff while trying out the cockpit audio cable for the first time to capture more action in the Twin Otter.
We took off in rough water from Kihavah Resort in the Baa Atoll, Maldives, to land back at Malé Seaplane Lagoon at Ibrahim Nasir International Airport. Commencing the flight within Dharavandhoo Tower's Class D airspace then over to Male Approach at 50 DME MLE, then at 20 DME over to Male Tower.
Here you can see and hear the crew and hear Maldivian ATC and the procedures and briefings we conduct before and after take off. Then cutting straight to downwind for landing in our straight float, Wipline 13000 DHC-6-300 Twin Otter Seaplane 8Q-IAJ.

ADS-B Retransmissions decoding
I live in Orlando Florida and use an RTL dongle with Raspberry Pi to feed 1090 ADS-B to FR24. A lot of the local flight schools and GA traffic use the 978MHz UAT (US only) to transmit ADS-B Out. The FAA retransmits these position reports on 1090 so that other aircraft may see them. Has anyone successfully hacked their system to pick up and decode these retransmissions to see this extra traffic? Thanks.

Has anyone else noticed that the Pope's plane is traceable on all the trackers if you know the flight numbers and/or the tail number?
If any flight should be blocked from public access it is those Papal flights.
Thoughts?
