Tracked flight not shown?

I am confused by something. I have a Pi feeding FR24 and FA, located just a few miles from an airport. FR24 radar site is "T-KPHF9". It can literally pick up a flight from the take off, 50 feet above the runway.
But it is not registered by FR24 on the web page as being tracked by my radar, it shows on the webpage later, as being tracked by a station located 40 miles away. It also says "position estimated".
Example in pics below:

Any explanation for this?

Problems feeding

Hello everybody. I am new to ADS-B and I am having trouble with FR24 feeder and a jetvision USB dongle:
ADS-B USB Dongle (R820T2) without Indoor Antenna

In fr24feed I get:

[reader][i]Connecting to DVBT receiver via (exe://mr-dump1090.exe --net --device-index 1 --raw)
[reader][i]Connected to the receiver, configuring
[reader][i]Configured, processing messages
[reader][i]Connection terminated

I added this argument ''--net --device-index 1 --raw'' as I read in a thread of this forum because when I open mr-dump I get that Realtek, RTL2838UHIDIR has SN 1.

I have libusbK drivers installed via zadig. Of course, I do not have running RTL1090 while trying to feed but when I open it, it shows messages from the dongle and I can even see aircraft in ADSBSCOPE.

Any ideas to solve this?

Thanks in advance

This is my first post; I hope i am in the appropriate section of the Forum.

I have been a radar feeder for some time (T-CYRQ6)
We own a small company with six planes / helicopteres all duly registered (of course)

Only two of the six are recognized for fleet and email notifications purpose.
Is there anything that can be done please.

Very Sincerely,

Does anyone know why airport arrival and departure times are now shown in the 12 hour clock (am, pm) format? I've always had 24 hour clock settings enabled. This is when I'm using Windows 10. My ios app is still showing the 24 hour clock. Please see the example for Luton below. This only started happening today.

Dump1090 Mutability v1.14

I have some confusion  in my FR24 settings screen I have the lat and long arguments set and when viewing Dump1090 on my local IP it has range rings and my location and distance from a/c shown.

Capture.PNG

However if I go to sudo nano /etc/default/dump1090-mutability it shows:

# If set, supplies a reference location for local position decoding.
LAT=""
LON=""

I actually want to change the Gain setting from max to a lower value, but if I change this in the same file I get told the file is read only ?
I have tried adding --gain="40" to the FR24 setting screen but it refuses the changes as well.

Is there another file that FR24 uses instead ?

Sorry abcd567 I know I have been here before with similar problems

Millsey.

Broad spectrum interference - FR24 box

Anyone else have interference problems with RF radiation from the FR24 ADS-B base unit?

It was the first time I had powered up my VHF systems since the unit was delivered and powered up and initially I had a lot of data carrying RF interference around the 70 and 145Mhz band. Pulling the power from the FR24 unit stopped all noise. As a quick 'fix' I have fitted about 20 turns of the PSU cable around a ferrite rod which has reduced the noise but it is still there so the unit/antenna must be radiating.

New 3D view on landing

Some changes were made during the few weeks I was away from FR24. One that I immediately noticed is the 3D view angle after touchdown. Now the ground is automatically tilted up so that we can see only a short distance ahead. In a way, it looks more dramatic and wouldn't be so bad except that it cannot be manually tilted down to suit the viewer's preference. Cockpit view is too shallow to serve as an alternative, at least for me.

Hello All,

Not sure this is in the right forum.....but....

Avid flgiht tracker and scanner listener! Was curious if anyone has a list of military aircraft that FlightRadar24 does pick up? I use ADS-B for most of the military flight tracking but I would like to know if FlightRadar24 does pick up so I can set up alerts. Any info would be awesome! Thanks!!

Problem getting data into ADSBscope

First post regarding data feeding so don't burn me to badly :-)

I'm new to this but have donw ome seaching through topics to try and find the answer but I'm still not getting anywhere.

I have a DVBT dongle on a Windows system that is happily tracking aircraft and uploading to FR24 via the latest version (1.0.19-15) quite happily. What I'd like is to be able to see the aircraft that I am personally tracking. I beleive that there is supposed to be a built in web page but with the --net --net-http-port 8080 arguments i only get a blank page hence trying to get ASDBscope running.

I found a thread detailing a setup but it refuses to display any aircraft. I know that the raw data output from FR24feed for a DVBT dongle should be on port 30002 and I have set this as the RAW data client on ASDBscope but nothing is coming through. I tried running RTL1090 software instead which outputs on 31001 and this works with ASDBscope but obviously i loose my FD24 data feed.

Is there something that I am missing?

Thanks

After some time the IOS app automatically zoomes out one level, and repeats doing that. Happens on both iPhone and iPad.
