Tracking and Filters

Just noticed that nearly all recent flights are showing a period of "estimated" tracking this morning, over areas of the UK and Ireland covered by tons of feeders. Was there an outage processing uploaded data?

And filters aren't working. See attached, Chrome browser.

I am confused by something. I have a Pi feeding FR24 and FA, located just a few miles from an airport. FR24 radar site is "T-KPHF9". It can literally pick up a flight from the take off, 50 feet above the runway.
But it is not registered by FR24 on the web page as being tracked by my radar, it shows on the webpage later, as being tracked by a station located 40 miles away. It also says "position estimated".

Any explanation for this?

Problems feeding

Hello everybody. I am new to ADS-B and I am having trouble with FR24 feeder and a jetvision USB dongle:
ADS-B USB Dongle (R820T2) without Indoor Antenna

In fr24feed I get:

[reader][i]Connecting to DVBT receiver via (exe://mr-dump1090.exe --net --device-index 1 --raw)
[reader][i]Connected to the receiver, configuring
[reader][i]Configured, processing messages
[reader][i]Connection terminated

I added this argument ''--net --device-index 1 --raw'' as I read in a thread of this forum because when I open mr-dump I get that Realtek, RTL2838UHIDIR has SN 1.

I have libusbK drivers installed via zadig. Of course, I do not have running RTL1090 while trying to feed but when I open it, it shows messages from the dongle and I can even see aircraft in ADSBSCOPE.

Any ideas to solve this?

Problem with OPFA & OPIS ground traffic.

Hi, Admin!

OPFA ground traffic hasn't been working since many months. OPIS is new one, its ground traffic is also nothing.

I've tweeted many times to flightradar24 to please do something to resume OPFA ground traffic but I don't know why they don't do this. Even they don't reply as well. I'm anxious.

I request here in forum to please tell me the reason of this and resolve it.

No aircraft on fr24 web page ? (no filters set)

Hi,
This morning - absolutely 0 a/c apperaing on my web page view zone over Europe & I have no filters set,
strange warning icon "0" aircraft on upper left of screen :
"You are either watching an area without coverage, or have se a too strict filter."

EDIT : Something to do with firefox. The a/c are appear on chrome

Hello,

wrong connection between IATA and ICAO Code in the Airport Arrival/Depature Flighplans

WRONG:
XR -> OZW -> Virgin Australia Regional Airlines (not longer has an IATA Code)

CORRECT:
XR - > CXI -> Correndon Europe

Incorrect block times

Hello everyone,
over the last time I noticed more and more incorrect block times. Somehow it looks like the block time is affected by the actual flight times, which doesn't really make sense to me. :confused:

e.g. the STA of Flight JL2 is suppossed to be 13:10. As correctly stated for the future flights. But when it comes to times in the past, the time (here STA) is overwritten with some strange (maybe actual?) data. Which does not make sense...


I noticed this problem appearing especially in the Northern American region but also in other regions around the globe.

Trying to install software for Pi 3 b+ and am getting error message gpg: keyserver receive failed: Server indicated a failure

Feeder online but 0% uptime an no positions reported?

Hello :)
I have a big issue and I already reinstalled my whole pi...

This happened today:
Like the Title says, Feeder is online like always, but suddenly no positions are shown on the Feeder Page.
On the localhost and also in the logfile you can see, I receive and sending packs.

Is this a bug from FR24?

feed software win32 1.0.19-15 interface

I decided to update feed software to the above due to connect problems, but find the new text based format messy compared to the old dialog box with start/stop button etc

Have I done something wrong? Wrong settings?

I have SBS3 box connected to base station on dedicated laptop running win10...

Sure hope someone can help as I find all the terminology confusing, and all the information on this site intimidating.

Newbie question - Altitude in Web vs. Mobile app

I noticed that using the Web page, altitude is displayed as FL (e.g. FL00/FL12) and in the mobile apps it displays in feet or meters. Is this normal? In the settings I have the altitude units set to feet; I have tried this on a few different computers with the same result.

If possible, I would like to display altitude in feet on the web version.

New RPI Installation, seems to be working but flight not found issue

I've just setup FR24 on my RPI and so far things look like they are working. I can see some flights tracked under FR24 Feeder Tracked Aircraft List

However if I click on any of them the web page loads up and I get Live flight not found. Is this a problem with my installation or something with the FR24 website.

Code:

ModeS: 4062A3 Callsign: TOM3PG
  Lat: 53.7613
 Long: -2.6701
  Alt: 37000ft
  SQW: 0520

ModeS: 40631C Callsign: EZY18PU
  Lat: 53.516
 Long: -1.9584
  Alt: 36000ft
  SQW: 5474
If I click on any of them, say TOM3PG, I get redirected to website/TOM3PG I get live flight not found.

However if I browse to the website and search for TOM3PG I get taken to website/TOM3PG/116a61e0 which then works.
