Aircraft Circling DWC

Hi I am new to the forum but had Flightradar for a few years.

Today I have noticed that Emirates Airline Flight EK2551 is circling DWC airport. Has been for last hour at least.

It is not only circling but comes down to land each time but then goes back up and circles again. Is this a training exercise or could it be in trouble?

Hello

Till yesterday 10:00 UTC no more feeding to fr24 but dump1090 is ok, internet access is ok, PI3 up-to-date...

[FAIL] FR24 Link: unknown ... failed!

dump1090 google maps issues

Hi, everyone I'm having a issue with my fr24 raspberry pi feeder when i i access the gmap.html

I get a popup
This page can't load Google Maps correctly

i can click ok ,

however all the background images had a watermark on it displaying This is for Development purposes only.

I have made no changes to the raspberry pi , it just started displaying this,

is there a problem or do i need to changes something to fix the issue.

WHY ISN'T GOLD EDITION REPORTING OUTSIDE AIR TEMPERATURE?

I 'm an admin for a Facebook group the focuses intently on aircraft. I have recommended to these 563 members that they purchase a subscription to the Gold Edition because of some select features which would be very beneficial to them.

The first person who did so reported that the feature that provides temperature data for any given aircraft consistently showed N/A in his region of Ohio and was not reporting any of this particular data whatsoever on any aircraft he queried. This happened days ago and he's not reported any changes since. Can you tell me why this may have been so in order for me to give this information to my 563 members? I have contacted FR directly but received no answer. I've posed this question on FR's Fakebook page and received no answer. I'm hoping this forum can be helpful.

Thanks in advance for your help. I couldn't find this issue through forum searches.

Problems with feeder statistics and data sharing

Hi everyone,

I apologize for the late post here but we are having some routing issues and currently working on it. It's high priority for us to have this fixed as soon as possible. Please bear with us in the mean time. We apologize for the disruption!

There are currently two main issues. The first issue can be divided into two parts.

1.1 Broken Individual Stats: Can affect both FR24 receivers(F-XXXXN) and data sharers(T-XXXXN). Feeder statistics between Thursday the 14th and Monday the 18th are broken or missing. Correct statistics should be showing up from 11:15 UTC time on the 18th of June.

1.2 Broken Share Statistics: The table on Share Statistics page is still being looked into. New stats not being inserted.

2. Feed connection errors: Affects only data sharers (T-XXXXN) feeds and fix given below

Feeders with Raspberry Pis who are affected, please check if feed.flightradar24.com resolves to an ipv6 address. (Run the following commands on your Pi)

nslookup feed.flightradar24.com
or
ping feed.flightradar24.com

if you have a result an ipv6 address (e.g. address 2606:4700...) please run this command to disable it which should solve the problem:

sudo sysctl -w net.ipv6.conf.all.disable_ipv6=1

Adding FR24 to a PiAware SD Install: Failed

I followed the instructions to run SSH into the Pi and run the following script since I am already running Dump1090 for FlightAware.

"sudo bash -c "$(wget -O - https://repo-feed.flightradar24.com/install_fr24_rpi.sh)"

1. I was not asked to enter antenna location.

2. I did enter a sharing key as I have another FR24 radar running

3. I encountered a question that was incomprehensible to me followed by a request to enter a path. I just bypassed these.

Anyway it seems the add-on is incomplete. Unless there are suggestions here I'll just re-write the piAware image and not add the FR24 feed for now.

Good afternoon all

I need your help.

I decided to mount an ADS-B receiver to send data from my area to Flightradar24. Download the Pi24 image and follow the steps on the Site. But to no avail. It just does not work.

I am sending the photo of the screen where the Pi24 is stopped. I tried to use the keyboard to try to do something, but it also does not work.

Can anyone help a beginner set up Pi24?

Hi, Possible Interference

Hi, I followed a link via the main page relating to problems with submitting data and statistics. I am in London and normally see around 1600 planes a day and avg 540/50 nm, currently I am seeing 300 at 3nm. I was advised to reset all of the connections and PSU etc, this was already done prior to posting so it wasn't connection related. I had already disabled IP6 so that wasn't part of my problem. In the end, member abcd567 suggested I ran some tests to check for interference.
I ran the test and have the following snippets. The question is, am I suffering Interference and if so, whats the best filter to use? Also, whilst I am at it, are there better/worse DVB-T sticks out there as I just bought a generic one via ebay.

I have just ordered a FlightAware Pro Stick Plus (USB SDR ADS-B Receiver) which I guess should be more suited to my needs?

Setup error, no response from server

On setup today (my SD card went bad, had to re-image for RPI) I'm constantly getting this error:

Verifying sharing key...[e]HTTP Response: [HTTP/1.1 500 Internal Server Error]
Got no response or empty response from the server :(

Happens in the setup script, after it asks for my sharing key.
Tried manual install from latest RPI stretch release rather than the fr24 image for RPI, same exact results.
Error 500 is server side, right? I can ping out from the RPI all day.
Is this related to the recent server or database outage?
Any ideas on how to fix? Thanks in advance.

RPI 3B+ getting error: Could not connect to feed.flightradar24.com, errno: 101

Hi,
so i decided to upgrade to a pi 3B+, i started with a fresh install of RASPBIAN STRETCH, installed 360Radar (all working fine) and then when I add FR24 feeder and i get the below error!

i ran the installer (i can't paste the wget command because of the link)

i then provide my email and next my sharing key and then I get the following error:


Verifying sharing key...[e]Could not connect to feed.flightradar24.com, errno: 101
Got no response or empty response from the server :(



anyone know what is wrong or what I did wrong?

before reply said me if you dont understand very well my question:

Does the receiver FR24 (ADS-B) allow to recover, directly on my PC and in computer form, the data received from aircraft in radio range?
(In addition to transmitting the box and the net FR24 site, then on my PC, that I understood, but in this case the data are not in computer form).

I saw that a software (for Windows among others) was delivered with the receiver, but is it only used to configure the receiver or it can also recover the data it receives, directly on my PC?

I downloaded this software, but of course as I do not have (yet) receiver, it does not work.
