Hello, got my new power supply today. It is 3A 24awg cable power supply. I am running flightradar24 software on raspbian stretch, not the flightradar image. My USB dongle seems to disconnect. What I also find is that it only tracks flight for the first few seconds on boot up. Here is when i plug in the dongle + errors:

Raspberry Pi - Restart problems

Hello,
I encountered a problem with my Raspberry Pi while trying to restart. Once I shutdown the Raspberry, or once it loses power, I am not able to start the device properly. Even after a proper shutdown, the Raspberry Pi doesn't seem to reconnect to any network. Neither wired, nor wireless are working.
In order to restart the Flightradar application, I have to re-install the Pi24 Image and reconfigure the settings, etc.
Could there be a problem with the standard fr24-raspberry-pi-latest.img? I had a second Raspberry Pi at home which I also tried, same result.

Kind regards,
Christian

Hi all in , on 21 November I went to a freezing cold RAF Marham to film all day in 4k video quality , here is an F-35B stealth fighter returning and landing in the hover mode https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yd0UPEHqywE obviously play all my videos with the volume high on your speakers ( preferably watch on a pc not a phone/tablet as your pc should have better sound quality ) , I also saw Tornado fighter jets https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_0CVUufzzjs that set off car alarms ! , Royal Navy Merlin helicopter landing at marham https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TUkaUzv0Qxk on top of that I also filmed Eurofighter, KC-135, Awacs plane and more ! see the other videos here https://www.youtube.com/user/AwesomeFullHDvideos/videos enjoy them Dave

ps does anyone know whats going on with fr24 forum ? i got a temporary ban recently so i contacted support, who got back to me and had no idea why i was banned ? i noticed all my previous threads have dissapeared. if i did something wrong please tell me so i dont make the mistake again ! , fr24 tell people why theyre banned unless it was a system error ??

100% Uptime, 100% Offline, Range = 0, Possibility to check hardware?

Hi guys!

I am new to feeding to FR24.
I just received all my hardware and set it the last couple days.

Hardware used:

RPi 3+, DVB-T USB Dongle with small antenna, Wifi / Cable Ethernet

So the situation is the following:

If I check the status of my feed everything seems to be ok (except MLAT but this should not be a problem).
If I log into the FR24 and feeding website my uptime is 100% but I am always shown as offline.
Also the range of my antenna shows 0 nm in all directions even though it has a good position outside on my balcony.
Here are not that many planes flying but at least some of them I should be able to track.
Unfortunately my counter of tracked planes is 0 over the last 3 days.

I contacted the support of FR24 and this was the answer:

"Check the log file please. You can use this command to do that: tail -f /var/log/fr24feed/fr24feed.log

If you see only pings, it would mean the antenna is not receiving any signal. Try placing your antenna in a better spot."

When I try the command there are only Pings as described and I tried to rearange the antenna but nothing changes.

So now the most important question:

Is there any way to find out if my hardware is propper working how it is installed and should the data on FR24 not at least show some nautical miles as a range of my antenna?

I also tried to reinstall the image of my Pi but nothing at all changes.

Please let me know which additional infomation you may Need to find out what is wrong here because I am kind of out of ideas!

Thanks a lot in advance.

Best regards
Strongjones

Hi,

I am not new to FR24, but new to feed coverage.
I saw that FR24 offers a box which is already set up and this comes for free. Otherwise I need to buy a rPi3 (which I already have) a DVT-B Stick.

Which are the differences?

Both stations not working

I have two Stations both with FR24 and DUMP1090.
Al of a sudden they don't won't to upload to FR24 even after reboot.
Nothing has changed and works on FA and other sites.

How do you connect Base Station to the fr24 feeder?

Hi everyone,

As the title says, is there a way to connect Base Station to the fr24 feeder?
I'm kind of new to this Base Station application and do not know if I configured it properly. I don't even know what SBS is. I just know it is related to Base Station.
I am not a total newbie to these kinds of things though. I have used many other ads-b decoding software and such.

So my receiver is a DVB-T/SDR dongle which is used by the fr24 feeder to share data.
My settings for the feeder (as found on the localhost html) are:
Receiver: DVBT Stick (default)
Host/IP: localhost:30002
COM/DEV/PATH: mr-dump1090.exe
Process arguments: --net
Baudrate: default (I tried setting this to "921600 SBS1/1er/3" but no aircraft is shown on Base Station)
RAW data (30002/30334): NO
SBS Feed (10001): YES (This was set to NO before and I tried setting it to YES and set the Base Station network address to 127.0.0.1 and port to 10001 but still doesn't show aircraft :(. By the way, I tried this when there were lots of ADS-B equipped aircraft near me.)
Decoded data (30003): NO
MLAT: YES
Extra settings: none

Anyone tried connecting Base Station to their feed? Your help would be appreciated.

Cheers from down under in New Zealand! :)

Both my desktop and mobile Flightradar24 apps have stopped working in the last 24 hours. Is it just me or have they finally given Windows apps the chop?

Cannot recover my station key

Hey folks,

after I was moving within my hometown and trying to start feeding again now my feeder application failed to login.
I then deleted the config file and wanted to log back in, i saved my key for that.

Unfortunately neither my key is accepted nor the key recovery web page is functioning at all. Is there any issue at the moment?

SBS1 connecting problem

Having not used my SBS1 receiver to feed data to Flightradar24 for around a year I downloaded and installed the latest version of the feed software. The receiver is connected to a PC running Windows 10 with a USB lead. After running the software for 3 hours the following is the status:
FR24 Link : Connected via UDP
FR24 Radar Code: T-EGNX163
Local IP(s):
Aircraft Tracked: 0
Aircraft Uploaded: N/A
Receiver: sbs1usb, Connected
MLAT running: N/A

The console repeats the following 2 messsages evey 3-5 seconds:
Connecting to SBS1 receiver via USB
Could not connect to receiver

The system tray icon displays 1 red and 1 green triangle

Please could anyone suggested why the software does appear to be uploading any data to the Flightradar24 server.

Hello everyone,

Sorry if the same problem is posted again but I've been looking at numerous posts and can't find something to work for me.

So, I have shared my data some years ago with the same PC and usb stick running windows 7 and everything worked fine. The dvb-t dongle works and it can receive 1090mhz signals. My problem is that mr-dump1090.exe cannot find the device (or so I think). When I open fr24feed.exe, the connection gets terminated:

What I understand is that there should be Realtelk instead of ROOF1 but I don't know what to do to fix it. I have installed WinUSB drivers through zadig at Bulk-In Interface 0 and 1. Can anybody help me?

Thanks.

Site broken again after update

I see the site has been updated again as all fonts have changed in the flight history menus with large dashes instead of broken lines. Very very few of the playback links are working. Most just flash the progress circle for a split second and then do nothing else. Also the playback function doesn't work on live flights anymore. Previously you could click the button and it would show the trail which you could mouse over to see the times at certain positions but that is now broken.
