Hi, i have just seen that T-EDDK145 has 349 as max range and 349 as average range.
I entered it's data page and i see in the histogram that the current received distance max contacts is around 50~100 nm.
So how can the average range be equal to the max range?
Thanks for aswer.

Good Day: I am seeing incorrect data on many flights that arrive here at JFK Airport since Dec. 5. For example, flights which have not yet even arrived, are shown to have landed already. SQ26, for example, actually arrived just about 1100 EST yet Flight Radar 24 says it arrived about 1400; many others incorrect as well; mostly international flights. Please fix. Thanks. Anybody else getting mis-information ?

I have a Gold subscription, which I thought should enable me to view flights up to 365 days ago. From the website, I am currently trying to load and play Emirates flight EK3 from Dubai to London Heathrow which departed on 10 August 2018. The flight history initially only shows flights back to 9 September. When I click on the "load earlier flights" button, the button text changes into "Please wait. Loading..." and from then on, nothing happens, while the button no longer works.
How can this be fixed so that I can load and play back that flight (which I traveled on myself, that's why) ? Thanks for any help.
Regards,
Emile Bax.

Since nearly 48hours 2 Ghostflights approaching EDDF if you look into FR24 via Browser or App.
This means for indefinite time the flights WZZ16AD and CFG282 appearing to be in the approach to EDDF but they never land and dissapear (see attached screenshot).
Did someone of you made the same experience ?
Regards, R.
Update (10:03 UTC): since 9:00 UTC the problem seems to be fixed, I guess it helped that I had opened an incident at FR24.
Update (16:09 UTC): since 11:00 UTC the ghostflights appear again, first WZZ16AD now CFG282 ... it's really strange, that FR24 shows flights which are not there

Hi.... I'm new here and have to say setting up Flightradar24 with my spare Pi and RTL-SDR was painless. However I noticed that the coordinates when using the drop-down chart and locater icon placed on my location is incorrect. Looking at the Lat and Long it places me about .5 nm west and about 15 nm north of the correct Lat and Long. I can get the correct coordinates by placing the icon in the wrong spot on the drop-down chart but there shouldn't be an error. Is his normal for the program? Thank you.

Sadly Flight Radar is still giving incorrect arrival times for most flights. I use Chrome and had this problem for several days. Is there a problem? :(

Hi,
I work at an airport and we want a customer facing touchscreen displaying FR24.
My original idea (running in Chrome browser);
iframe html file pointing to our airport long/lat
Button at bottom saying "Return to Airport" which just links into itself.
Then a Chrome extension called 'Idle Reset' that takes you back to the original home page after x seconds.
Obviously we don't have a keyboard or mouse connected to this PC, but I would implement a white/black list to ensure the customers cannot get too far away from the home page.
Is there a better way to get this done?
(FYI we are already a paid business subscriber, and this seems to be acceptable use as per the ToS)
Thanks!

In Playback mode you can hammer away on the "Show Route" button but it does nothing yet it works perfectly for the same aircraft in Live View.
e.g.
https://www.flightradar24.com/2018-1.../H25B/1ed7cea4
Originated at Billund but you have to click-and-scroll to follow the flight track back to determine that. You can pick any of the other aircraft and see the same problem.

Hello,
I'm not sure if I'm posting this question in the right place, so please let me know if this isn't relevant for this section of the forum.
Every year during the winter season British Airways operate services to Rovaniemi (RVN) and Kittila (KTT) with callsign like XMS001, XMS5BZ and XMS10. The actual callsign is "Santa 001, Santa 5BZ, etc."
I have noticed that Flightradar isn't showing the flight number or the flight itself on the arrival/departure list for these airports. I'm wondering what the reason for this is.
During the winter season, it's regularly done every day, and I don't see a reason why these flight wouldn't be on the schedules.
It's also not possible to playback these flights by searching the callsigns used, and it's only possible if you know the registration that was used for that flight. Why is this?
Thanks for your help!
Andreas

Hi all....I'm still new to FL24 and SDR as well. I loaded up a micro-sd with the fr24.img and I'm using a raspberryPi 3+ and a rtl-sdr dongle. All is working well. But what I'd like to do is see the output sent to the terminal and still be able to use the FD24 live feed. As is, if from the cli I type:
Code:
./dump1090 --interactive
I get the return:
Quote:
Found 1 device(s):
0: Realtek, RTL2838UHIDIR, SN: 00000001 (currently selected)
usb_claim_interface error -6
Error opening the RTLSDR device: Device or resource busy
Is this possible? Thanks
...moderators, I think I posted this question twice....sorry
I think I see an answer in the tech section.....

Hello Everybody
I am feeding FR24, RB24, FA, PF and Opensky-network using a RPI 3B+ (Raspibian Stretch full install). I can see the usage is low (CPU at 600 MHz and average 5% CPU load) so wanted to participate in the electro sense (crowd-sourcing initiative to collect and analyse spectrum data) project as well with the same unit.
Does anybody know if you can share the FR24 existing DVB-T USB Stick (antenna doesn't have a filter for the 1090 MHz freq) in an RPI so it also can be used for this electro sense?
If not, does anybody know if you can use two DVB-T sticks in the same RPI (one for the airplanes and the second for the electro sense) without causing issues to each other?
Thanks, Marc

Greetings all. I see some of you use the AAI N1201SA analyzer. I was thinking of purchasing one maybe after the Christmas holidays but I just downloaded the user manual (English version) and it is a little hard to follow. Do any of the owners have input about the product and any advice about sorting thru the "instructions"?
Thanks

Since 2-3 months ago, all planes tracked in China are mentioned to be tracked by radar T-F6M. And if I try to track planes tracked by T-F6M with filter, I see no planes tracked by T-F6M. I don't know why this is happening and since I have no answers even though I searched here(forum) and Google I'm opening this thread.
+)
At the same time, China's Blank Spot has increased, and I wonder if it's related to this. Thanks.

Good morning all. My setup here in Mathews, Va. since putting my Pi3+ with FR24 on the air has been portable and probably will be until next year when I hope to be moved in to my new home. For the time being my antenna is basic and placed wherever I can put it. Since starting I've had the antenna stuck to the east facing window in the one story office at the marina where I work. It is a vertical dipole with the suction cup base that came with the RTL-SDR. This morning I decided to try placing the antenna outside and up higher. I have a 20ft collapsible fishing pole in my car that I use for supporting my wire antennas when I operate a portable low-power (qrp) ham radio hf transceiver. I decide to use the fishing pole for supporting the antenna for my FL24 setup. I didn't have enough coax to go the whole 20ft so it's about 12ft high. I'm using batteries to run the pi. WOW! What a difference location makes!! Before changing locations, the data read:
AIRCRAFT SEEN: 213 POSITIONS REPORTED: 321 MAXIMUM DISTANCE: 13NM HITS REPORTED: 2472
It took about 20 minutes to relocate everything and after booting up I came back over to the office and made a cup of coffee. Then I sat down and looked at the data:
AIRCRAFT SEEN: 254 POSITIONS REPORTED: 1290 MAXIMUM DISTANCE: 73NM HITS REPORTED: 5095
And now, thirty minutes later I see:
AIRCRAFT SEEN: 309 POSITIONS REPORTED: 3474 MAXIMUM DISTANCE: 84NM HITS REPORTED: 11290
Anyway, just wanted to share this with the group.

Lately, estimated arrival times for todays' arrivals have been incorrectly shown on Flightradar24.com. I have checked all my settings but to no avail. Yesterdays' arrivals, on the other hand as well as recent arrivals seem correct. What is the problem?

Hi All,
I am new to this side of Flight Radar, but I was wondering how to go about adding and airport to the system. I have applied for the Flight Radar DVB box, but if I dont get it then I will add my own to the network.
I am the Aerodrome reporting officer at Carrapateena in South Australia (YCPT)
Thanks.

I don't know what else to title this thread, or how to ask my question. On the FR24 map on the east coast, real close to where the Oceanic track lines start, is a set of bright gold lines. What do these indicate and what is their purpose?
I understand the Oceanic track, it's just these I'm not sure of.
