I had just finished installing the requirements sent to me from flightradar24 and the equipment was commissioned on 28-August-2013 at 13:59 hrs, and i have made a small video on it.
I was really amazed on the receiving power of the antenna that was supplied with the flightradar24 team, it has a long range of around 400++ Kms
And here is the video

Show complete route of flight

Hi,

i'm wondering that there is no possibility on the website and even the pro app, to show the complete route of flights already finished.

Did I just not find this or is there no possibility to achieve this? If yes, will it be implemented?

Best wishes,

Sarah

Timed Out

Being new to Flightradar24 I was quite excited to be able to follow a plane from Stanstead UK to Sheikh El Sharm in Egypt.
As a result my geographical knowledge also improved as I followed the plane through more than ten countries.
But I was also very disappointed when a message came up on screen to say I had been timed out.
I had just gone past Greece and was looking forward to the final leg.
I reloaded the program but unfortunately lost sight of the flight.
The only consolation was in finding Manchester City Football Club aircraft going to some Arabic country.
:confused:Is there anyway I can stay logged in without having to manipulate my computer???????
Brilliant program, but really felt that this timing out to be a pain.
;);)

Error reports (?) Destinations and filtering

First, I'm sorry for not finding a thread for error reporting (not directly related to database), so feel free to remove this post to appropriate thread.

When I filter on flights to/from ARN using Internet Explorer I also, sometimes, get flights going to AMS. More than once it has been Korean Air, e.g. KAL509.

Related to this, I have also had FR24 on Android show that such flights are destined to ARN, even though they are flying to AMS. (In Internet Explorer the destination was correct, just the filtering was wrong.)

Premium over standard

I have recently signed up to provide an extra feed for Flightradar24. This entitles me to access the Premium facility.
I have several follow-up questions.

Whilst I am impressed with 'Premium' and apart from the different screen shots and icons, how is this different from 'Standard' Flightradar?? I am struggling to notice any.

A question that may have cropped up many times but can't find an answer too is, are there any plans to change the display on Premium so that the aircraft icons can show the details permanently, rather than having to keep clicking on each icon?

Is there a recommended site I can download such things as waypoints etc?

Mark

FR24 on Jetstar Pilots' Smart Phones

I was having a few drinks in a local bar a few nights ago. As usual, I sat at the bar counter watching the bar tenders displaying their skills.

Around me were some Caucasians drinking non-alcoholic drinks. Soon, I realised they were pilots & talking about planes.

I joined in their conversations and told them my new hobby is " Plane Spotting ".

Immediately, 2 of the said " Flightradar24.com ".

Wow ! I looked at them and smile.

Out came their Smartphones and they showed me " Flightradar24.com " with planes surrounding WSSS !

Then, came the second comment: " Almost all our pilots have " Flightradar24.com " in our smartphone - even our wife and girlfriend. We look at this site instead of calling the office."

( I kept a low profile and never told them I feed F-WSSL1 - the main reason for my smile ).

Business jets with no registration

Hi there!

Why the FR24 are not showing the registration and the tracking for the bizjets (Gulfstreams, Citations...)? I love business aviation and I cant follow these acfts anymore.

I'm thinking on request my money back for my iOS and Android apps.

Best regards,
Everton

Departure route Weeze NRN

Hi,

During the departure routing from Weeze Airport (NRN) in western direction, all the flights for southern destinations make a 270 degree right-turn.
My question:
Why don't they just make a 90 degree left turn ?
Has it something to do with the German-Dutch border that is near by ??

Thanks for your reactions.

Hi,
New member to the forum, but have been following Flightradar 24 over past 3 years. I have just noticed that BA have started their 2nd daily flight to Toronto using the 787's. Since starting 2 weeks ago, it is rarely meets departure time. today, BAW 93 left 2 hours late and behind their 14.00 hr departure. May be one day it will pass over my house as I live on the Wirral (close to the Wallasey beacon) and at the cross roads of the West-East/North-South routes)

Saw this plane flying 'triangles' over the lake District. Then it flew straight after circling over Kendal. Googled Kendal Finish to find that the Tour of Britain ended today's leg there. Must have been a camera plane (I assume).

ADS-B issues

Hi there everyone, I have recently purchased myself an ADS-B GPS reciever for use with my Garmin Pilot app for iPad. I find it a bit confusing though-I had originally understood that I would be able to recieve in flight weather as in the order of radar pictures, METARS & TAFs for airports as well the CONUS images. But I coudn't get a lock on any ground based transievers (GBTs) anywhere I flew around my home base in upstate NY (KSCH). If I have just blew 700 bucks for something that only works in the terminal class B areas in the metropolital areas of NY someone please tell me now......looking for help understanding.

F--WWAY, aka G-XLEB, on tarmac at Toulouse Blagnac, ready for official handover on 18th. perhaps short ceremony today with delivery flight tomorrow.(on schedule ?)
will keep monitoring. will NO 2 go straight on first long haul to LA,or be used for training to FRA. over the last month I should believe that there are now enough A380 pilots trained. I did enjoy the inaugural first commercial flight on 020813 to FRA, didn't enjoy the food in Frankfurt airport. things are looking up for BA.

Help needed with departure and arrival times

$

Hi,
I'm trying to collect data from FlightRadar24 for statistical purposes and need longer retention time than the historical flights can offer.
Anyway I was tracking AirFrance 439 today across the Atlantic and picked up this info:

50.5123,
-47.0281,
"B744",
"MEX",
"CDG",
"AF439",
1379495051,
1379508345

I can figure out latitude, longitude, aircraft type, departure, arrival and callsign. But what are the remaining two numbers? I'm guessing departure and arrival times, but that doesn't seem to fit, as FR can also display schedules times, i.e. four different times. Perhaps they are just internal id numbers?

Where does FR get their STD, ATD, STA and ETA's from?

Filter error = destination error

All,

Observed something rather weird today.

It's rather busy outside my windows so I brought up the FR web site and set filtering to inbound to EWR. After zooming out a bit I noted 2 UAL flights that were a good distance away and clearly heading away from EWR. These were UAL15 and UAL1734.

On the "radar" 15 showed as PBI->EWR UAL15.jpg and 1734 showed ORD->EWR UAL1734.jpg, which is why, presumably, they were showing up on the inbound filter for EWR.

But when clicking on these flights, and this is where the weirdness comes into play, 15 showed its true route of EWR->HNL UAL15-1.jpg and 1734 showed EWR->ORD UAL1734-1.jpg.

I would have thought that the system would display data pulled from the same source or same database so I am at a loss to understand how it is displaying differing data sets. And clearly the filtering is keying off the erroneous data so I guess my assumptions were incorrect.

Anybody have any idea how this can occur??
