403 Forbidden when accessing

Due to a corruption of my SD Card and or Pi or both, I have had to start over.

I've begun with a fresh image of Buster Full followed by installing of dump1090-mutability v 1.15 followed by installing fr24feed using bash script.

The FR24 feed is working and sending data but when I attempt to view the web output of dump1090, I have always started out with just the IP of my Pi and nothing else.

I can pull up IP of Pi:8754 and view status and configuration settings for FR24, but, just the IP gives me 403 Forbidden.

I'm not sure where to go from here. I've not run into this issue the 3 or 4 other times I have run through these install steps.

Thanks in advance.

Pi desktop strange password request

Hi!

Asking for a friend... Yesterday this request to provide a password showed up on the desktop of the Raspberry Pi. No password have been set for any of the services as You know, and the default password for the Pi user is not accepted neither. The services (fr24feeder etc) are running ok but it is somewhat annoying to have this appearing and not being able to access the desktop of the Pi. Any suggestions welcome!

ADS-B Receiver I built not showing up to Register

I bought a raspberry pi 3 B+, a 8GB SD Card, an indoor ADS-B Antenna and USB dongle. I followed all instructions and connected the raspberry pi to ethernet and power but doesn't show up in the list to register the receiver. Please help, thank you.

19 dongles for ADS-B.

Irregular feed

After being informed by the fr24 support of the Windows feeding software closing, I ran my Raspberry Pi, however my feed is very irregular.
I tried to replace the USB stick DVB-T receiver but nothing changes, it doesn't seem to be the dongle.
Any idea why this?

Is this shop reliable

Good evening,

I have no idea if my question is allowed. If not I will delete it

I was surfing the internet searching for equipment. Found this internet shop in Paris. Passion-radio.com. As the shop is in Paris the delivery seems to be much faster as when I order in HongKong or the U S. I cannot find comments or reviews.
Thanks for the help

Pi stopped feeding on 6/27

Despite having flightradar24 set to notify me if there is no reporting for 1 hour my Pi apparently stopped transmitting data at 23:18:10 on June 26th, and I only noticed it today when I went to use the FR24 app and it said I only had a Basic account.

When I checked the status it is showing as Online, but no data is being sent. In fact for the last 7 days it is showing 100% uptime.

I checked another system's data (my weather station) and on the 26th there was no power or internet interruptions, so I am wondering what is going on. Does a Raspberry Pi need to be rebooted on occasion? It has only been running since June 2nd. Nobody was anywhere near that house on the 26th to tinker with anything, so it isn't likely that somebody bumped the antenna or anything.

The Pi is at my second home and I did not go there today but I will be there tomorrow, I will restart it and see if that resolves the problem, but is this a normal thing to happen? If it is I can plug the Pi into a wifi switch so I can do a power cycle remotely. But just seems odd that it is online, but not sending anything.

Iberia flight codes swapped

Hello,
First time posting, although I have been a user of FlightRadar24.com for a few years. I am not the most intensive planespotter but I enjoy identifying flights or checking the whereabouts of family and friends in their trips. So I am thankful for all the fun I get from Flightradar24

I have accidentally found a bug in the database and I wonder if other people have seen similar things.

Iberia has two flights from LHR to Madrid in in the late afternoon with only 5 minutes of separation. The earliest is IB3179, departing at 18:40. It is usually scheduled to be an A319, and so it is for the next days (as can be seen in Iberia.com or in Flightradar24.com itself).
The second flight, IB3167, departs daily at 18:45 and is scheduled to be an Airbus 340-600. Again you can see that in many places.

In fact, yesterday I took flight IB3167 and it was, indeed, an A340-600. It took off at 19:16 and landed at 22:08 (all local times). But that information (aircraft type, time of take-off and landing), and the map that shows, correctly, where the plan was in Heathrow Terminal 5, and where it was parked in Madrid Terminal 4S, appears now in Flightradar24.com as if it belonged to the other flight, IB3179.

The information that appears on IB3167 is NOT correct (neither airplane, nor timing, nor parking places in LHR and Madrid), and I assume it must correspond to the correct data for IB3179.

The history pages show that IB3179 is scheduled to be an A319 for next 7 days, but has allegedly been an A346 for the last seven days. The opposite happens with IB3167: next seven days scheduled as A346, but past seven days shown as A319.

This suggest that the swapping of codes happens daily for some reason. The previous information is correct, but on the day of the flights, the codes are swapped and flight info is incorrectly assigned.
Other plane spotting webpages (I will not name names) have data from my flight yesterday correctly assigned to flight IB3167.

I am not sure how common this type of mistake is but I am courious. And hopeful this information can help people in Flightradar24 improve their wonderful product.

Cannot identify plane out of city airport London

Hey you lovely people,

I live about 1 mile from city airport in docklands London and I've seen a plane twice now that I can't identify.

It looks like an HS 146, or BAe 146 for you youngsters, but it only has 2 x engines. They are definitely jets, high wing, T-tail everything looks exactly like a 146 but only 2 x engine pods.

I would post a pic but I haven't managed to get one yet.

Can anyone help?

TIA,

Dan.

Note that the filtering information is missing at 19:40 so the filtering times out and all planes get sent to the server for around 30 seconds.
This of course increases load on the servers which can cause all kinds of problems if many feeders are not getting filter list either.

Just in case anyone from FR24 is reading here ;)
Good luck fixing it.

My feed isn't cutting out but i see quite a few syncing stream timeouts:

FR24 Receiver doesn't boot

Hi!

I only have a few days to fix my receiver that has been offline for 3 months now and since Fr24 support takes too long to answer I figured I would seek help here on the forums instead. I got the receiver from fr24, so it's not one I built myself.

It failed in an update 3 monts ago, somehow. it just got stuck and stopped sending data to Fr24, even though I could reach its webinterface.

I flashed a new image to the SD card, but it never showed up on the network and the lights never started to blink, so I figured that maybe the SD card was corrupt.

I bought a new one and flashed the image again, but still no blinking lights.

So now I hooked it up to a monitor to see if I can get some error messages, and yep.

It seems that the DHCP service cannot start, It cannot get an IP so it reboots. It gets stuck in a reboot loop.

The error messages are:

Code:

[FAILED] Failed to start Create Volatile Files and Directories. See ‘systemctl status systemd-tmpfiles-setup.service’ for details.
And then further down:

Code:

[FAILED] Failed to start dhcpd on all interfaces. See ‘systemctl status dhcpd.service’ for details.
And then:

Code:

[FAILED] Failed to start Raise network interfaces.  See ‘systemctl status networking.service’ for details.
Then it reboots, and the same thing goes over and over again.

The image is not the Raspberry pi image on their website, its "fr24-skysense-v1.1.0.img"

What can I do?

Linux DEB for SBS users

Hi,

Reading all the messages in this forum it is clear that fr24feed 18-5 is broken with the SBS range of products. I have seen a new version of the Windows and Pi version to fix this, but can't find Linux deb ?

I have a Ubuntu server which is on 24/7 and so want to use this for fr24feed... I have a Funcube Dongle and a SBS-3 unit, both very capable of receiving flight data, but currently neither work with fr24feed, I am reluctant to go and buy another dongle/or a Pi...

If the Linux version is around, can someone share it ? I imagine if a Pi version exists, then porting to Linux x64 is pretty easy no ?

Thanks.

Adam

feeding with Pi + monitor internet

Hello All,

At the moment I am feeding to Flightradar etc, using a Raspberry Pi3+b.

Is it possible to connect a small monitor to the Pi and than use the internet . I would like to use the small. monitor to "see" my feeds continuously. As I am an absolute beginner to the Raspberry any help is highly appreciated.
Thanks

What am I doing wrong? trying to get fr24 img up and running

UP front... apologies.. I'm clueless here! Only exposure before this was the standard flightaware image which I never tweaked.

I've built a fresh install onto SD card using the fr24 image. It's up and running to a point, but 1090dump is NOT running.

When I visit http//myip:8754 this is what I'm seeing:
Quote:

FR24 Link: Connected via UDP
FR24 Radar Code: T-EGPH192
Local IP(s): 192.168.1.154
Aircraft Tracked:
(ModeS & ADS-B) 0
Aircraft Uploaded: N/A
Receiver: beast-tcp, Connected
MLAT running: NO
Settings behind that are:
Quote:

Receiver: ModeS Beast TCP
Host/ip: 127.0.0.1:30005
Baudrate: default
When I visit my dump1090 page. the map shows the following error message:
Quote:

Problem fetching data from dump1090.
AJAX call failed (error: Not Found). Maybe dump1090 is no longer running?
The displayed map data will be out of date.
I've installed it afresh a couple of times... but am at a loss as to where I've messed up! I've got SSH ok...

Aircraft Movement Not Viewable at Some Airports

Why is it that for some airports, such as SEA, we can view in Flightradar24 the movement of aircraft on the ground, while at other airports (such as PVG) is the view apparently blocked and departing aircraft are not viewable until the aircraft reach approx. 3,500 feet?

plane to broadcast TV images of the Tour de France

Why is this happening?

VDL2 decoding with MULTIPSK

Hello ,
I am using MULTIPSK to decode VDL2 I am using RTL-SDR with the standard antenna.
I am sitting inside TLV airport inside an office (but external wall)
I am receiving a lot of massaged but mush less decoded as you can see in the picture from 94 massages only 19 were decoded..
maybe it's something with MULTIPSK settings?

Thanks, Bar
